I am Hyolim Lee (a.k.a Summer). I didn't want to be called 'Jorim' (a simmered Korean dish), so I am activating under the stage name 'Summer'.

Summer Lee is a graphic designer and type designer with a focus on storytelling through typefaces. From South Korea, Summer moved to the Netherlands and started study at the ArtEZ. She is interested in how font invokes emotion in the reader as the combining together of strokes and dots.
Also, she believes the morphological elements of typeface create a tone of voice which could be an expression or visual language. Her works mainly illustrate possibilities of the emotional typeface. Other than that, Summer spends her time busily drawing illustrations and comics.
